A no-reservation needed, off-leash, group-play daycare where doggies can sniff, bark, play, and have fun with other doggies is our goal at Mercy’s Play + Stay. Our daycare is an outlet for excess energy, mental stimulation, physical exercise, and socialization for your doggy. Because each doggy’s experience is individualized, we carefully group doggies by size, temperament, and play style. Some doggies play better in an active group, others like a more laid-back approach, or crave cuddles and attention from our amazing staff.
Mercy’s staff are trained using International Boarding and Pet Services Association (IBPSA) principles. The IBPSA sets industry-best practices and standards in Doggy Body Language, Canine Behavior and Psychology which leads to the high-quality care and treatment doggies get while they play. Vaccinations
We require a veterinarian vaccination record indicating proof of current vaccinations for:
Fleas + Ticks
All doggies should be flea- and tick-free. Any doggy with signs of fleas and/or ticks will be treated at our Grooming Salon at the pet parent’s expense prior to check-in.
Parents who would like us to feed their doggy lunch must provide food for their doggy to avoid diet change. Most doggies do better by staying on their regular diet from home and have less trouble with upset stomachs from switching foods. It also reduces any risk of food allergies. Bring your doggy’s food in pre-portioned resealable baggies. This ensures the right portions are being given to your doggy. We are a green facility, so all bags will be recycled.
We have a refrigerator and microwave to prepare special diets.
Make sure medication is labeled and clear dosage instructions are included. All Medications should be in the original bottles from the pharmacy. At the time of check-in, advise our smiling humans of any special medical or behavioral concerns you may have.
Mercy’s provides everything your doggy needs for a fun day of play.
In the event that your doggy requires medical attention, we will refer to your contact list and make every attempt to reach you or your designated emergency contact. If we are unable to contact you or your emergency contact and we feel your doggy needs medical attention, we will transport your doggy to their regular veterinarian, if close by, to ensure continuity of care. If your veterinarian is not near our facility, we will go to one of the local veterinarians that we know. If we believe that the situation is urgent or if your doggy needs care after regular hours, we will take them to the closest veterinary emergency clinic.
